Now that winter is almost at an end – hopefully – now is the time to be thinking about your next break, and what could be better than a 2017 Cornish holiday in the beautiful #seaside village of #Porthleven. Porthleven has a long stretch of beach, a very picturesque harbour surrounded by restaurants, cafes and small shops and plenty of stunning cliffside walks.
2017 Cornish Holiday – Loe Bar and Loe Pool
Approximately one mile east of the village of #Porthleven is a sandbar, known as Loe Bar, which separates the sea from the freshwater lake, or ‘loe’ in Cornish. One can walk further east along the cliffs or head inland through the woodland estate which belongs to the #National Trust.
